On another note, next Sunday will be my Birthday - I'll actually be a person "in thier thirties"... ha ha! I was born on Thanksgiving day, this year my birthday doesn't fall on that day, but I think it's about every 7 years that it does - my mom always said she had to miss Thanksgiving dinner - but I think once the story is finished, it ends up that she had two dinners, one from the hospital, and then one her Dad brought to her. Anyway, I usually just think of Thanksgiving and my birthday being together because that's when the whole family is there and we usually celebrate it all at the same time. My Dad's birthday is the 28th, so we also usually celebrate his too! SO - anyway... this weekend my husband was picking up some plants for a job he is doing this week, and before he and my daughter left, I whispered in her ear that I would LOVE to have a pretty fall tree for my birthday present, and that maybe she could pick one out! Look what came home with them!
It took some digging... Don't worry, Child labor laws weren't broken...
A beautiful Sugar Maple tree!!!!!
Voila! I am soooo happy about my birthday present! There is another one that went into the back yard. Taylor Anne is always talking about how we don't have any pretty trees in our yard too, so I think the one in the back was really for her! Maybe in a few years she can climb trees in OUR yard for a change!
