Visiting!

We visited with my parents this weekend, and also went to visit my Grandparents while we were there.

Here are some pictures from our visit:My Grandparents have several of these 'singing/dancing' stuffed animals in their apartment. They are very entertaining for young children. Anderson didn't know what to think about them at first, but warmed up and started pushing the buttons himself - making them play simultaniously... Yeah - party time! After we had all had enough of that we went out to the courtyard and played for a little bit. The weather was so nice - upper 60s or low 70s!Of course my little lady had to climb one of the trees in the courtyard... she's a monkey in a girl's skin I think!

When we got back to my parent's house, my Mom and I walked the kids down to the park (the same park I played in as a kid), and we played for a good long time. There was sandbox time for Anderson, and another climbing tree was found! I didn't get a lot of crafting done this weekend, but I've been sneaking time in here and there... I've started on a shirt for Anderson with the leftovers of the blue fish seersucker fabric... I may do a little floppy hat too! Can anyone say "Easter outfits?"
More cutting of little squares, you can see my progress in the upper part of the picture above... More fabrics were found thanks to a shopping trip with my Mom. Now I'll work on putting the little peices together and hopefully get a quilt top put together very soon!

That weather looks loverly...

Isn't it good to be outside, soaking up the sun? It's only 26 degrees out here but the sun is shining and the snow has melted a bit. I'm thinking about going for a walk anyway!

Can't wait to see your quilt...

Sounds like a nice visit, I can't wait until the snow is gone here! I love that you are making matching outfits for your children. How sweet!
