Seeing Stars again!

Finally!
Seeing Stars Block #2 is done... I ended up cutting out all of the peices again, and starting from scratch. It's still not perfect, but I love it, and I'm not re-doing it again! This photo is pretty close as far as colors are concerned, I took it outside in the sun, the batiks are so bright - I really like all of the colors in there!
Here's block #3 - This one I got on the first try. I loved doing the little triangle bow-tie parts, I was pleasantly surprized they were 'perfect' on my first try. Once I got the other parts put together, it was another story - it's also not a perfect block, but I am still happy with it. This fabric is actually the same as the center of Block#2, so you can see the color is off in this photo. It was taken tonight, inside with just my lighting in my sewing room. It's very pretty in real life, and I like the color scheme that's coming along.
I have noticed that I'm getting close to my 100th post... I'm going to do a give-away, but not sure how exactly yet... and also not sure exactly what I'll give away yet!
Suggestions would be accepted, and appreciated!

great blocks...I think exact piecing gets really hard in the bigger blocks. I love the paisley fabric...I just found a skirt that someone had made out of it for a dollar...big skirt= a lot of fabric= big smile. Have fun!

Your blocks are looking so good, have I told you lately how much I love your fabric in them? :o)

Great blocks...........

That pesky scant 1/4 inch is really key to getting good results. It has taken me 3 years to get it down. Now I have one machine I use for piecing. It has an attachment set at 1/4 inch. I only move it when the machine has to be serviced and then I worry till I get it set again.......

Oh, Em I love your blocks! I am in the process of finishing my first quilt-a-long quilt top. Nothing is lining up so I really feel your pain. I'm having to rip and re-adjust and am crossing my fingers in the hopes that when I quilt it finally, no on will notice.
