Garden update

Here are some updated pictures from my little garden...
The tomatoes are growing great, although I'm battling tons of aphids this year, I'm going to get the first red one off in the morning... the sugar snap peas are starting to produce, and the squash is having some issues with blossom-end rot, but is growing well.
Sugar Snap Peas, and Artichokes

Cucumbers
Mulberries - anyone have a recipe for these? The birds are loving them, but my husband was thinking I could make some jam or something... never heard of mulberry jam... ideas?

I've heard of using them for pies, jams, jellies basically anything you would use raspberries or blackberries for.

"Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush" is now stuck in my head

I think there are some of these in the frozen berry blend I buy.

I use them for cobblers and smoothies.

Enjoy your garden!

Glad your garden is doing well. Love the peace wall hanging you made. Very Neat. I recently read about mulberry jam on Granny Sue's New and Reviews Blog.

Holy cow- looking at your garden makes me wonder what's wrong with mine. :) My cucumbers are 3 inches high and not even tied to the pole yet, no 'maters, and my peas have only just gotten to the "sending out shooty-thingies and attaching to the little fence" stage, let alone producing. Is it because I live north of you (Jersey), or are you feeding them some sort of mutant food or something? :)

Oh, and my CAPTCHA word is "yov gov," and I think that's the funniest thing I've heard all week. ;)

The garden looks great! Everything looks so healthy.

Do mulberries make good jam?

Em - your garden looks great! How lucky your children are that they have a mommy who gardens. With all the thunderstorms that ripped through here, I wasn't sure that my little pot garden made it through the night, but they did! I'll have to post some pics sometime.

Congratulations! Good luck with the mulberry recipe. Haven't tried any myself.

What a gorgeous garden. Nice work! And yes, the Emmeline was easier than I expected, but still high maintenance. :) I am used to being able to do an apron start to finish in an hour or two and since I am a beginner this was NOT the case. but I love it and am sure I will make more. :) And your wall hanging is beautiful. I'm sure the teacher loved it!
