Our Fourth of July weekend!

To start off our weekend, we headed over to my parent's house and look at what greeted us! It's a pergola they just made - to shade their patio. It's really cool, and I think it will look really neat once there are some plants either hanging from it, or climbing up to soften the look.

After we hung out with my parents for a while (and everyone took naps), we headed over to a friend's house to celebrate the 4th of July! It was nice - we swam in their pool, played in their baby pool, ate some yummy burgers, hot dogs, slaw, potato salad, special baked beans, and FRUIT PIZZA! The fruit pizza is also special because this friend of ours made it to serve at our wedding 10 years before! Yes, it was also our 10 year wedding anniversary this weekend!!! (It's nice to have fireworks each year for free!)

Yes, many of us were wearing tie-dye tee-shirts, or dresses... we like to look like fireworks on the fourth of July!

The next day, the kids played in the sand at Grammy and Gramps' house! It's so neat that they keep a sandbox for the kids to play in... my parents even have a cabinet chock full of toys and books for the kids to play with when they come! Grammy and Gramps have lots of fun toys for us!

Playing at Grammy and Gramps' is fun!

Early Saturday morning, Mike took Taylor Anne to the Zoo for some fun 'Daddy and Me' time, and they had a blast! Here are a couple of pictures from their trip!

Silly Polar Bear!

Taylor Anne and Mike took my Mom's Mustang convertible to the Zoo, and this was the first time Taylor Anne had ridden in one. She had a blast even if her hair was really messy!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! Poor polar bear, I hope he wasn't too stuck. And I love your setting blocks, the fabric is awesome!
