Bad day

Sorry - no pictures with this post... Today I had a really bad day- I took the little man for his 18 month check up, everything was fine with him - he's a little squirt (8th percentile for weight, 15th for height), but nothing unusual about that. On my way home I felt like my neck glands were swelling a little... and about 2 hours later I was getting achy and my glands were definitely swollen... I knew I had strep throat at that point. So I made a doc apt and it was confirmed by the rapid test. This is my third Strep infection in 3 months! I had it Oct. 25, Nov. 21, and then today (Dec 18). This is not good. I asked my doc how I could keep getting it, and he thought one of the kids might be a 'carrier', they would have the virus, but not show any symptoms, so he suggested I get them both tested ASAP, and DH too. So - I went to the pharm. and got my prescription ($10), then got on the phone to Mike to tell him what was up, and went home. Once home, I called the pediatrician who said they could come right then, at 4:30pm. Both were tested positive - no symptoms, but it's hard to tell anything with Anderson, so he might have a sore throat and I just don't know. Anyway, so back to the pharmacy for their prescriptions ($165)!!! And I called my doc and made an apt for Mike at 9:30 am. Taylor Anne was supposed to be performing in their annual winter cultural presentation tomorrow at school. Now she can't go. She's very upset and so am I - she had a little Spanish speaking part in it she had been practicing, and she was perfect. I'm not in a good mood right now. I probably won't be crafting anything else in the near future, at least for a few days. I have to get rid of the aches, fever, sore throat, and swollen tonsils first. I also have to deal with a VERY disappointed 5 1/2 year old girl in the morning, who won't be able to go to school and do her special part. This was not how I had planned my day to go.... Bad, Bad day. :(
