My Daisy Girl Scout troop attended the Daisy/Brownie Camporee for the day yesterday - and I thought we needed a good way to keep track of our troop in the sea of little girls! I first thought that bright yellow bandannas would be great! Then my co-leader said she thought it would be hard to keep them on the girl's heads, so I got bright yellow hats instead! These hats are adult sized, but could be adjusted, so they fit the girls OK, and didn't fall off. I wanted to personalize them a bit, but didn't have a lot of time, and since I wanted to keep these with the troop in the future, I didn't want each girl's name on them. Here's what I came up with:
Blank hat:

"G" and "S" Stamps:

Add some Hot Pink permanant ink, and voila!:

I think I will add some more of the stamped letters, in a 'toss' pattern over the bill of the hat, but for yesterday it was cute with just the one GS.
A great day was had by all - the girls had the best fun playing with all of the caterpillars that are out right now! (not showing faces - protecting the innocent!)
