Let me know if you see the wierd mistakes... the picture should enlarge so you can get a good look... you might not be able to see them though... I don't care about them too much, to me they just make it unique... to a quilt collector it would be considered quite inferior in quality to a 'good quilt', But I don't care - I'm not ripping out anything!
Since I was able to finish this on Friday, I have gotten a few other items worked on this weekend... Check out all of this fabric:
It is 7 yards of an outdoor fabric for the top of my kid's playset - I had meant to put a shade canopy on the playset when my husband was finished building it, but I didn't have the fabric, and didn't have a clue what to do... so almost 2 years later, here I am finishing it up! I'll update with a 'finished and installed' picture once the rain clears out of here!
Since has been raining cats and dogs, I took some time to get another little project done.... I made myself a clothespin bag from this tutorial I found on Sew-Mama-Sew! Isn't it cute??? I think I'm going to make some more of these but maybe not so big - this one looks like it would hold TONS of clothespins!
I also tried another shopping bag - a little smaller sized, but nice boxy bottom and strong handles. I love this fabric... too bad it was a remnant I picked up somewhere...
Taylor Anne also had a fun weekend, she had two horse-riding lessons in a row, since several had been rained out - so Saturday AND Sunday afternoons she got to ride Fred. Here's a video of her getting to trot - she has a lot of fun!

Fred is a little lazy (and he's 21 this year), so he drops out of the trot a couple of times, but she had a blast and is so good at riding! The instructor, Miss Holly is quite impressed with her improvement from one lesson to the next!

I love your finished quilt-along quilt. Keep us updated on the chickens - I think I live close (town in NC outside of the capitol). We always wanted some chickens - but with the restrictions we heard of never really looked into it. Good luck.
Your quilt top looks fantastic! I am toying with the idea of joining in on the next one again, but I'm just not sure I'll follow through. We'll see. And I too am eager to hear a chicken update...
Well, Trottin' Taylor looked good up on Fred!! I am proud of her!

oh your quilt a long looks great, I'm way behind!
Oy, I still havent done the top of Jack's fort either!
I love the video of your daughter riding! I rode all through my childhood and then worked on a horse farm when I was older. Tell Miss Holly if she ever needs someone's help exercising horses or breaking in ones with more energy I am more than willing to help!
