Here's reality - this is what happens when your daughter decides to decorate your son's hair with a bunch of hairbows... about 5 minutes before you're supposed to be walking out of the door to take her to school...

More Reality - I need much more practice keeping a 1/4" seam! This is so frustrating! Here is my #2 Seeing Stars block:

Even More Reality - I got the Emmeline apron pattern in the mail the other day - I'm so excited to start on it!! BUT - I can't figure out what fabric to use - I really don't think I have anything that will work and look good... And I've got to get working on it - it's supposed to be mailed off in the near future!

How funny! Someday he'll be blackmailed with that picture-by his adoring sister.
That too cute, love your star block, keep trying..youll get it Im sure!
I love the colors you are using for your star. The emmeline pattern looks cute, can't wait to see yours.
While I sympathize about those wonky seams, I have to admit it comforts me to see I am not the only one who has these problems. Honestly I could sew twice as much if I weren't doing things 2 x...
BTW Star block #2, the final chapter, looks perfect to me.
